TCBC COMMISSION FOR THE BIBLE

TCBC Commission for the Bible, earlier known as the APBC Bible Commission (before the bifurcation of the state), is the Regional Commission for the Bible, catering to the pastoral needs of both the Telugu speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is established in order to consolidate and execute at the regional level, several activities related to the Bible and its propagation. The Regional Bible Commission of Telugu speaking states has a very humble beginning. In fact, it did not even exist as an organized body until early 90s. But needless to say, it was surely in the able guiding hands of Most Reverend Dr. Gali Bali, the Bishop of Guntur, who shouldered the responsibility till 2017. Currently the commission is headed by Most Reverend Dr. Raja Rao Thelagathoti smm., the Bishop of Vijayawada.
